Heather Parry and Nell Stevens bring darkly humorous, gothic narratives to the fore in their new books, Carrion Crow and The Original. Parry’s spinetingling and grotesque tale explores mother-daughter relationships, sexuality, and class, while Stevens examines authenticity, creativity, money, and belonging with wit and originality. They join us to explore the illusions we construct between what we keep hidden and what we choose to share. Chaired by Eleanor Catton.
